Betsafe Review

Betsafe have grown rapidly over the last couple of years. In that time they have they managed to develop their sportsbook into one that is able to compete with some of the market leaders. On top of that they are continuing to add new features such as their Star Sixes, Betsafe Boosts and an all-new dedicated horse racing section.

Pricing is a priority and it’s been this dedication to odds and more importantly, user-friendly odds, that have allowed them to grow their business at the rate they have.

The Betsafe Website

When landing on the Betsafe sportsbook the first thing that really hits you is the design. The black and white text is something is a pretty rare find and this unique look makes for a quite effortless user experience.

Access is available on mobile devices such as Android and iOS. The design is great and it feels very usable, allowing you to quickly jump between different sports and the markets within. In fact, we will go as far as saying that the site has a higher usability rating on mobile than it does online.

Betting Markets

Betsafe have improved when it comes to the number of betting markets that are on offer. Football plays a big part in the makeup of the sportsbook and whilst it’s here where you are going to find the largest number of markets to bet on, the site doesn’t feel like it relies on the sport as heavily as others.

Outside of football the likes of tennis, rugby, cricket and golf are all well catered for. When the American sports seasons start shaping up for baseball, basketball and American football, there are few better bookies.

One of the newest on-site additions has been a dedicated horse racing section. They’ve always offered horse racing but the ability to head to a totally dedicated area that is 100% focused on the sport allows them to attract an even bigger range of punters. Here, you are going to find a massive range of races to choose and not just within the UK. Countries such as South Africa, France, Sweden, Norway, Brazil Switzerland, Chile, Turkey and many more are all covered, making it one of the most diverse racing sections that we have come across. On top of all this you are going to be able to get access to live streams, dedicated horse racing promotions, statistics linked to thousands of horses from across the world and racing tips which take you through to the Betsafe betting blog with dozens of articles.

The pricing structure at the site is really solid and we had little complaints across the board. There were some sports that had rather large discrepancies between some of their prices and industry ‘standard’, but on the whole, it was tough to find any glaring leaks.

Live Betting & Streaming

The live betting section is a highlight for us. They include a huge range of games, which isn’t uncommon, but on top of this they are also pretty diverse in the range of sports that they include. For example, they offer a wide range of netball and hockey games, which may seem a little random to include, but it gives you an idea of the scope, something that is often overlooked.

Once into a specific match then you are going to get a pretty basic range of data to choose from. For football this will include goals, yellow/red cards, corners and penalties. Compared with somewhere like bet365, it really does feel as though it lacks a little bit.

But, it does make up for this when it comes to their match centre, offering up a live ‘stream’ of graphics allowing you to see exactly what’s going on and when. The range of markets that you can bet on are also equally impressive, although the design is a little off putting here as sometimes it’s hard to make up the change in odds, signified by a small green or red arrow.

Banking

As you might expect from a company like Betsafe, you get to choose from a wide range of banking options on site. These range from debit cards to e-wallets and bank transfers. Depositing funds will be instant and will incur no fees.

Withdrawals will also be free to use but will require you to send some form of ID in to get your money. A good tip is to do this before you want your funds to save time when you do come to withdraw. Withdrawal times will range from 3-5 days for debit cards and immediately for e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller.
